Cool Jason Mraz Tour Posters

November 23, 2005

I never saw these when I was actually at the shows, but these posters look pretty sweet for 7 bucks apiece. I think each one applies to one of the shows I’ve been to:

  • 4/5/03 Milwaukee
  • 10/20/03 Minneapolis
  • 8/31/04 Sacramento

Some Logic For Your Morning

November 23, 2005

I’ve been drinking a lot of tea lately since I’ve been feeling crappy, and feel strongly that…
English Breakfast Tea > Irish Breakfast Tea

Another observation?

Length of my sweater sleeves < Proper sleeve length 😦

ANTOnline Order Update

November 23, 2005

I was excited to get an “ORDER SHIPPED” email from ANTOnline today, until I got to the product description part:

INTERNATIONAL PLUG ADAPTER

It appears that I will have to wait for the package to arrive to determine my fate, but I think I am back in the market for a hard drive on Black Friday…

Why * Is Bad For America

November 22, 2005

I noticed a book called “Why the Electoral College is Bad for America” while math tutoring at the library last week, and it piqued my interest. I haven’t listened to the NPR interview yet, but thought it might be interesting to find out what else people think is bad for America.

So I Googled ‘why * is bad for america‘, and among the 981 results (I expected more)…

  • Bush
  • Alito
  • War
  • WTO
  • UN
  • Chocolate Cake
  • God-Hating ACLU
  • Republicans
  • Trade

Too Good to be True?

November 22, 2005

One of the things I was hoping to pick up on Black Friday this year was an external hard drive for backing up all the digital photos and music accumulating on my aging hard drive. It appears that Comp USA has the best deal – $50 for a 160GB SimpleDrive.

Too bad there aren’t any CompUSA stores in Stockton.

So I started poking around online, and stumbled across a 120GB Iomega drive for only – $15.03? I went ahead and ordered one, so we’ll see how it goes…

Update: Amazon is now asking $160.54, I hope they honor their pricing mistake.
